Melanie and Neil were interviewed on Radio Leeds in the spring of 2009 speaking about how they met while Melanie carved the sculpture of the Miner at the quarry where Neil worked as a stone blaster. The picture below is of Melanie and Neil on their wedding day in Sept 2008 which took place in Morley Town Hall where the sculpture of the Miner and the Weaver are now based for all to view (see map for directions below the interview to Morley Town Hall).
