Carved from maltese limestone
Some of the wonderful carvings created by my students on my stone carving masterclass at the Hepworth Wakefield. Well done everyone.
Revisited the Pack Horse the other day, it looked lovely in such an autumnal setting. The sculpture is situated between Marsden and Slaithewaite on the Pack Horse trail.
Had a lovely evening at the opening of the MAFA Small Works Exhibition at the Portico Library yesterday. Lots of fine work by other MAFA members to see.
Just some of the great relief carvings sculpted by the students on my latest stone carving workshop at Pontefract castle. Well done to everyone.
Had a wonderful day at the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Stourton Stone Circle. And was an honour to unveil the plaque commissioned by the Leodis Pagan Circle. I was able to explain the details of the stones when I carved them all those years ago. I would like to thank the Leodis Pagan Circle members for keeping the site in excellant condition and for inviting me to speak to them.
